The design of a 112-element millimeter-wave waveguide slot array antenna to reduce the grating lobe level is presented. A hybrid-phase feeding technique combining a cophase feed and an alternating-phase feed is applied to facilitate the suppression of grating lobes. In addition, a stepped feed waveguide and offset coupling slots aligned in a line are employed to realize a tapered aperture Slot array antenna and plasma processing apparatus - US A slot array antenna, comprising: a power-feeding waveguide for feeding microwave power; and a plurality of rectangular radiating waveguides connected to a plurality of windows which are disposed along the longitudinal direction of the power feeding waveguide, so as to guide the microwave power from the plurality of windows to the outside of the antenna. Slot Antenna - an overview | ScienceDirect Topics The resonant half-wavelength slot antenna is desirable because of its compact size; however, it has large input impedance, typically larger than 300 Ω, which makes it difficult to match to. This can be circumvented by using an offset microstrip feed or the folded slot antenna, which (PDF) Slot Array Antenna using Folded Waveguides

Radar Basics - Slot Antennas Slot Antenna. Slot radiators or slot antennas are antennas that are used in the frequency range from about 300 MHz to 25 GHz. They are often used in navigation radar usually as an array fed by a waveguide. But also older large phased array antennas used the principle because the slot radiators are a very inexpensive way for frequency scanning ...
